The diesel engine-driven fire pump set is designed and manufactured in accordance with GB standards for fire pumps. It meets CCCF certification requirements. Its advantages include the ability to automatically start and operate when a power failure occurs during a fire, ensuring that fire fighting operations can proceed normally even when electric fire pumps are unable to function. Compared to electric fire pump sets, a second advantage is that it eliminates the need for long-term investment in power supply infrastructure, saving on the costs of power transformers and regular electricity expenses. The diesel engine fire pump set is equipped with various automatic functions to meet customer requirements, ensuring the equipment remains in a ready state for immediate deployment in fire fighting situations. This diesel engine fire pump set is also suitable for various emergency backup pump applications.
Main Features of Diesel Engine Pump Sets
● Automatic Operation: When the diesel engine fire pump set receives a valid fire signal or a remote control start signal, the unit will automatically start and run. If the power supply system of the electric motor fire pump set experiences a power outage or phase loss, the unit will automatically enter standby mode. If the diesel engine fire pump set fails to start within 10 seconds, it will stop for 10 seconds and then restart. The unit will automatically repeat this process three times;
● Automatic Charging: Using mains power for charging, when in automatic standby mode, if the battery voltage is low, the unit will automatically charge. When the battery voltage is sufficient, it will automatically stop charging to prevent damage to the battery;
● Automatic Alarm: Alarms for multiple start failures, low diesel engine oil pressure, high diesel engine water temperature, diesel engine overspeed and shutdown, low battery voltage, charging failure, fuel shortage indication, etc.
● Automatic Preheating: Keeps the diesel engine in a warm standby state to ensure emergency operation;
● Direct Connection: Diesel water pump units below 360kw use the domestically pioneered technology of directly connecting the diesel engine and water pump through an elastic coupling, reducing failure points and significantly shortening the unit's start-up time, increasing the reliability and emergency performance of the unit;
● Users can also request other alarm outputs (non-standard supply);
● Has remote measurement, remote signaling, and remote control functions (non-standard supply);
● Wide range of models: Fire pump sets can use single-stage single-suction pumps, multi-stage single-suction pumps, single-stage double-suction pumps, etc., or a combination of multiple pump types in parallel, with a wide range of flow and pressure.
